-        <p align="justify"><font color="#000000" size="2" face="Trebuchet MS">La Red Universitaria de Educaci&oacute;n a Distancia de Argentina se conform&oacute; en el a&ntilde;o 1990. </font></p>
-        <p align="justify"><font color="#000000" size="2" face="Trebuchet MS">Entre los principales objetivos cabe mencionar los siguientes: &ldquo;fomentar y desarrollar el empleo adecuado de los recursos de educaci&oacute;n a distancia para superar problemas educativos espec&iacute;ficos; promover la investigaci&oacute;n, la experimentaci&oacute;n y el desarrollo de m&eacute;todos y procedimientos en educaci&oacute;n a distancia; fomentar la formaci&oacute;n, perfeccionamiento y capacitaci&oacute;n de los miembros de RUEDA; organizar, convocar y participar en encuentros nacionales, regionales e internacionales del &aacute;rea; establecer estrategias de acercamiento a fuentes de financiaci&oacute;n; fomentar el fluido intercambio de informaci&oacute;n y de programas educativos producidos dentro y fuera de RUEDA; asesorar sobre los aspectos educativos, pol&iacute;ticos, econ&oacute;micos, legislativos y t&eacute;cnicos pertinentes a la Red; y proponer pol&iacute;ticas relativas al &aacute;rea de la RUEDA.</font></p>

-          </B>Los Consejos de Planificaci&oacute;n Regional de la Educaci&oacute;n Superior  constituyen una instituci&oacute;n peculiar, dado que reunen a todos los actores de la educaci&oacute;n superior argentina: universidades nacionales y privadas, gobierno nacional y gobiernos provinciales. <BR>

-          Son,  la &uacute;nica herramienta de coordinaci&oacute;n horizontal del sistema de educaci&oacute;n superior. Su antecedente inmendiato fu&eacute; la experiencia desarrollada por los Consejos de Planificaci&oacute;n Universitaria Regional (CPUR) creados por resoluci&oacute;n ministerial 1618/93. La ley antes mencionada transform&oacute; estos CPUR en los actuales CPRES, reafirmando su papel como instancia de encuentro y articulaci&oacute;n del sistema de educaci&oacute;n superior a nivel regional. <BR>
